Girls State Visits the Nebraska National Guard!

Story by Kenna Gottschalk, Karen Ruiz and Aurora Urwiler.

One of the highlights for the citizens of Cornhusker Girls State is visiting the National Guard Base in Lincoln. There, the members of the National Guard allow the girls to get up and person with their equipment, helicopters and ambulances. The enthusiasm of the soldiers enhances the girls' experience and allows for them to let their hair down for the night. Below are a few of the photos from our Girls State Gazette Staff.
