Final Countdown

If you're anything like us, you started singing the chords to the song "Final Countdown." Only us? Hmmm......okay, not the point.

We here at CGS Central are making the final preparations to make sure CGS 2014 goes on without a hitch.

Here's some things that you might not remember before getting to Girls State

1. Make a packing list and check it often. Recheck all of your bags. You don't want to forget anything! Those shower shoes and robes are important!
2. Read the packets of information your ALA's sent you. Everything in there is vital to your stay at CGS.
3. Please keep in mind Nebraska is fickle. Tomorrow might be sunny and 75 and Monday might be rainy. Be prepared.
4. Don't be afraid to break out of your comfort zone. Everyone here is in the same boat. Get to know them! You will be so glad you did!
5. Bring a little spending money for the convience store in Sandoz and for the official Girls State Store! The Store offers fun things like flashlights, tote bags and crew neck sweaters. Rep it up! You'll want to show off your CGS pride!
